This Client is a monthly subscription-based Software As A Service (SAAS) that helps government contractors generate new leads to grow their businesses.
They offer a 14-day free trial to access current and historically available opportunities before issuing payment. This allows their customers to access relevant data and insight into government purchasing trends, along with avenues to bid on open opportunities that are delivered straight to their inbox.
Their primary goal is to increase subscribers while keeping the Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA) less than $100. Once the CPA is achieved, then continue to scale and grow the budget while maintaining the less than $100 CPA.
In most cases, the CPA users get when first using Google Ads is not optimized, meaning, it is typically very high compared to where it could potentially be with weekly adjustments. It's very common that as a user raises their budget, the CPA goes up. This is usually because the more a user spends, the wider the audience Google is targeting. This can make the CPA increase rapidly.
After Gadsly stepped in, we focused on performance and optimization, not spend. We needed to bring up the conversion rate while trying to maintain the Ad Budget.
